Okay, a quick blurb to get caught up. Christmas was celebrated alone, but was fun. I had a lot of really good food and I even cooked a cornish hen (that was cooked really well IMHO), so….nummy.
I’m now packing and on the way out the door to Urbana. So I’ll see everyone on the 1st of the Year when I come back. Till then, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King ROCKS!
That is all. A few days late but no less relevent.
I write this entry from my new office. Yes they moved me to a new office at work so I could get the “shared office” experience. This is as my new office mate takes a month off to visit India….
So yeah, moving offices sucks. It takes forever and there’s heavy lifting and yeah. I’m also going from my own office to a shared office…which also sucks.
That aside…I got to go visit those cool people at Iowa State on Saturday and went to a Christmas party. That was very fun. Should have brought my camera so I could show you our gingerbread pirate snowship looting a semi truck. There was much booty for all!
Other cool things….oh, I get to start doing development work for RPGamer….that is if me and Myst can stop playing FFXI long enough to do other things…

Hey, so yesterday was my big doctor’s appointment. I went in and was meet by one of the most friendly and helpful doctors ever. He was awesome, thorough, understanding, and intellectual. Very good.
After a day of psych/IQ/cognitive testing, I received the results:
I don’t have any neuro-cognitive problems. (usually found with ADD, but never used to diagnose ADD)
According to the standard evaluation of my reported problems he would diagnose me with a mild form of ADD and recommends trying a medication when my hypothyroidism dosing is stabilized if my problems still persist.
So yeah, there you go. Also learned my IQ is decently high too, so that’s fun. Well not my verbal IQ (76 percentile), but the other 2 categories in the WAIS-III test were 98 and 99 percentiles, whatever they are (i imagine math is one).
So, now to get my thyroid under control and then on to whatever is next.
